Renewable natural gas (RNG)

• GNR can be delivered to our customers through the gas grid, or in compressed or liquefied form. The latter replaces natural gas in heating and power generation applications, and can be used as a fuel for trucks and ships, for example.

 

Synthetic fuels (e.g. biogas, biodiesel)

• These biofuels are derived from biomass (forestry, agricultural or municipal) and obtained by various processes such as gasification and methanation.

 

Torrefied wood pellets or biochar

• This low carbon fuel is a very good substitute for coal and can be used, for example, in cogeneration plants, cement mills and steel mills to produce heat and/or electricity.
